Joke of the Week: What fruit never gets lonely?

JOKE: What fruit never gets lonely?

ANSWER:  A pear!

EXPLANATION:  This is an example of a homonym.  A “pear” is of course a fruit, but it is a play on words with the word “pair”.  If something is in a pair, it would not be lonely.
